We’ve been talking about China and APAC for some time now, primarily because we’re in the final throes of setting up an Idealpeople office in Beijing, and we’re terribly excited…

At the same time though, it’s with some sadness that our APAC opening will co-incide with the departure of one of our founders, Michael Wright. Having set us up and having been instrumental in our growth in the UK, it seems he’s got other things on his mind now, so he’s leaving.

Thankfully he’s not going far - in fact, he’s going to head up our APAC operation, in conjunction with the equally talented Jessie Wang.

Michael has beens studiously learning Mandarin, and it seems he’s been mixing his new found linguistic abilities with his passion for music - as this video we found on Youtube shows. Michael, we’re sorry for publishing this, but we just couldn’t help it…..(the word on the street is that there’s a Chinese song coming out soon….now that we have to see!)
